Senior Analyst

Operating at the cutting edge of technology markets, our work is challenging and stimulating. Typical assignments range from market research and mapping, through proposition and marketing strategy development to hands-on management of product launches.
We are looking for an experienced analyst with a proven knowledge and understanding of telecoms and technology markets, research, strategy development and financial modelling skills to lead and build our bespoke research and forecasting capability and client base.
Role:
The role will encompass:
- Leading bespoke research and market analysis projects
- Developing market forecasts and business cases on behalf of clients
- Translating market intelligence and customer needs into market leading proposition concepts
- Maintaining FirstPartner’s reputation for expertise in key industry sectors through development of thought leadership
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities for FirstPartner
- Managing client relationships and developing accounts.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in business, finance, technology or other related field.
- Expert knowledge of Telecoms, IT and Media technologies and markets
- Previous research and financial modelling experience in a technology related company or consultancy.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, including ability to self-manage, accurately gauge project duration, aggressively deliver on deadlines, and manage a high-volume workload of often-changing priorities.
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
- Effective presence in front of clients.
- Strong numeracy and statistical analysis skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Good financial literacy.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Primary customer market research experience (consumer and/or B2B)
- Financial qualification.
- Additional European language skills preferred.
